To facilitate business, the center plans to hire consultants

New Delhi:

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry plans to hire consultants to study the business environment and compliances and suggest measures to promote the ease of doing business in the country.

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) invites applications from qualified professionals eligible for appointment as a Principal Consultant and Consultant for three years to work at the Trade Facility Reform Secretariat. business (EoDB).

The secretariat was established within the DPIIT.

Interested candidates can apply online by the end of this month.

The professional responsibilities of these consultants include carrying out a detailed analysis of existing laws/rules and their provisions; review and analyze the legal and regulatory frameworks dealing in different jurisdictions in India; and design an action plan with a targeted approach to the reforms needed to improve regulation.

Additionally, consultants must have “an understanding of state-level business regulations and additionally identify action plans for improving the reform agenda,” according to the department’s announcement.

The lead consultant and the consultant will be expected to develop an understanding of the citizen service delivery mechanism at both central ministries/departments and state level and identify action plans for improving the machinery of government .

They should “perform a thorough analysis of the various costs involved in the lifecycle of a business entity to identify additional financial implications on businesses while meeting various government compliances.”

They would help to undertake feedback on the reforms implemented by the stakeholders (users/beneficiaries) to assess the actual implementation of the reforms.
