When will National Treasure: Edge of History be released?

A great mystery that still awaits us is when you will be able to see National Treasure: Edge of History. The upcoming series does not yet have a confirmed release date, and as of June, filming is still ongoing. With the trailer premiering at San Diego Comic Con, hopes are high for the series to release later in 2022.

The seventeen-second trailer leaves a lot to the imagination, revealing the show’s star after flashing new and old artifacts across the screen. The relics of the national treasure the films projected on the screen suggest that these artifacts and the stories that surround them will be revisited.

Additionally, a behind-the-scenes featurette was released simultaneously with the trailer, giving viewers a bit more insight into the new story and characters. Behind-the-scenes footage is shown illustrating a battle scene that may be the Mexican-American War of 1846, based on the military uniforms and weapons visible in the blueprint. A female soldier, with flowing curly hair, is seen in the foreground. This woman will probably be the ancestor our main character is trying to get to know.

Will Nicolas Cage reprise his role?

Nicholas Cage took on the lead role of Benjamin Gates in both national treasure movies. The Confrontation The actor portrayed the history buff who risked everything to clear his family’s name and uncover the nation’s lost treasure. In the movies, he’s been seen raving about numbers and messages hidden in political documents, stealing the Declaration of Independence, and committing a litany of crimes before finally putting all the clues together in no time. Fifteen years later, the national treasure the story continues, but without its main character. Cage, who recently starred in the action comedy film The unbearable weight of massive talenthowever, remains very busy, with four projects currently in post-production, including Renfielda horror comedy in which Cage plays the role of Dracula.

Without a Featured Cage, the national treasure Franchise took on a new story, with a new lead. Lisette Oliviera takes on the role of Jess Morales/Valenzuela, a 22-year-old who embarks on a cross-country journey to find out more about her family. The only way for her to solve the riddle of her past is to find the missing treasure her father told her about years ago. Fortunately, his friends are there to help, piling into a van for the road trip of a lifetime. Together they set out to find the clues needed to solve the mystery, hopefully before her wealthy rival, Billie Pearce.

Catherine Zeta Jones will play black market antique dealer Billie Pearce. Similar to Ian Howe in the first national treasure movie, she attempts to work alongside Jess before stealing her clues and racing against her to solve the mystery first.

justin barta will reprise his role as Technical Specialist Riley Poole. Bartha said things have changed since the movies, in which he was the young man on set. The Hangover the actor spoke of his appreciation for how the national treasure The franchise uses American history as the starting point for the story of an epic treasure hunt.

Riley Poole’s character has always been happy to work alongside the brilliant Benjamin Gates, though he often complains about not getting the recognition or money he deserves. As a young man, he squandered his first fortune on a bright red Ferrari and did his best to impress young women with the book he wrote describing his adventures with the famous Gates. The book and the flirtation unfortunately didn’t go so well. At the end of the second national treasure film, however, Riley can be seen flirting with a beautiful woman who recognizes him in her book before driving off in her red Ferrari. In the upcoming series, Riley will be the expert on all things Gates, American history, conspiracy theories, mysterious relics, and hidden treasures. However, his tech-savvy role could be usurped by his new, younger cast members, who use their cellphones to solve clues that would have taken young Riley a few extra minutes on his computer.

Harvey Keitel, who played Agent Peter Sadusky, is seen in the behind-the-scenes featurette, holding a folded American flag as he sits at a handsome desk. Agent Sadusky regularly gave Gates and his team a hard time and gave them a head start. Sadusky seemed to believe Gates’ theories, wild as they were, often warning the explorer of the lines he was crossing (and the crimes he was committing) while reluctantly pursuing him. Audiences will have to wait and see how the federal agent handles this new, younger explorer who will surely test the limits of the law in search of the hidden treasure.
