Death Stranding is confirmed to be coming to PC Game Pass, and the release date is only days away. After much speculation, it’s been confirmed that Hideo Kojima’s gripping post-apocalyptic horror survival game – which was a PS4 console exclusive – will be coming to PC Game Pass next week. This is the first time Death Stranding will be playable through the Xbox ecosystem, and the release date is set for Tuesday, August 23.

Death Stranding first released on PS4 in 2019 and was one of the most high-profile PlayStation exclusives of the last generation.
It was later ported to PC by 505 Games in 2020 before the Director’s Cut version of Death Stranding was released on PS5 the following year.
Express.co.uk reviewed Death Stranding upon its release and called it one of Hideo Kojima’s best games.

The reveal of Death Stranding for PC Game Pass comes after Microsoft announced Hideo Kojima’s next game will be coming to Xbox.
This news was revealed during the recent Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase with Kojima-san making an appearance during the June stream.
And we might get our first look at this mysterious project during Gamescom Opening Night Live next week.
ONL takes place on Tuesday and in the run up to that, Kojima took to Twitter to reveal that he’s finished editing something, which could be the trailer for his next game.
Its next game is thought to be a survival horror called Overdose.
