And our Bollywood celebrities are not far behind. From Amitabh Bachchan to Shilpa Shetty, our favorite celebrities sent their warmest greetings to Krishna Janmashtami 2022. Amitabh Bachchan shared a photo of Lord Krishna and Goddess Radha on Twitter. Meanwhile, the veteran actor wrote, “Janmashtami mangalmaye ho. [Wishing you a happy Janmashtami].

This is a working Janmashtami for Mouni Roy. The actress started the day by reciting one of her “favorite shlokas » of Bhagawat Gita. Sharing the video, Mouni wrote: “Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare… Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare. Shilpa Shetty gave us a glimpse of her internal Janmashtami celebrations. In the video you can see the divinity seated amid flower decoration. Abhishek Bachchan has shared a clip to mark Krishna Janmashtami 2022.


Ajay Devgn’s Janmashtami wish came with a Mahabharat link. The actor wrote: “Jab Shree Krishna aapke sarathi ho, tab zindagi ki haar mushkil aasaan ho jati hai [When Lord Krishna is your charioteer, all the problems become easy to solve]”. During the Mahabharat, it was Arjun who chose Lord Krishna as his sarathi.


Karisma Kapoor, Esha Deol and Athiya Shetty also wished their fans on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami.


Janmashtami is celebrated to mark the birth of Lord Krishna, who is considered the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu.
