The cast of ‘Supergirl’: where are they now?

Established in 2015, super girl told the story of Superman’s cousin. Kara Zor-El, 12, was sent to Earth after the fall of Krypton to protect her cousin, but when her capsule is accidentally knocked over, she finds herself stuck in a black hole. By the time she comes to earth, her cousin has grown up and she must learn to grow within the Danvers family and as a human. Now, as an adult living in National City, Kara must balance her life as a reporter at Catco and hiding her identity as Supergirl.

Katie McGrath—Lena Luthor

A force to be reckoned with – Lena Luthor is the younger sister of Lex Luthor, Superman’s nemesis, and Kara Danvers aka. Supergirl’s best friend. Having taken over L-Corp after the fall of Lex, Lena ensured that the image of the company changed for the better—as CEO; she transformed the company into a multi-billion dollar science and technology company. At the end of the series, Lena proves her worth to her family and the public and finally learns to accept herself.

super girl was not the first series to have helped Katie McGrath to gain recognition – having previously played the role of Morgana Pendragon in the BBC series Merlin. McGrath has proven her acting abilities time and time again. Over the years he has worked on projects such as Dracula, jurassic world, slasher, Border, Bridesmaids Secret Affairsand more recently, The Continental.

Azie Tesfai — Kelly Olsen

The New Guardian—Kelly Olsen, works at Obsidian North, helping to develop ways for consumers to use the VR system to deal with trauma. After moving to National City, Kelly and Alex developed feelings for each other. The couple eventually started dating, getting married in the show’s final season, and adopting Esme.

Azie Tesfai is quite similar to her character – having attended auditions and acting classes while pursuing a degree in business administration at UC Berkeley. Tesfai showed how hardworking she is and more than proved her worth as an actress. Several of his projects include Wicked Villain Games, Joan the Virgin, NCIS: Los Angelesand A million little things. More recently, she just finished filming the short film Knock Knock Head Lock– a twisted version A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens.

Julie Gonzalo — Andrea Rojas

A businesswoman with standards and expectations far too high for everyone around her – Andrea Rojas is the CEO of Obsidian North and the former owner and editor of Catco Media. She moved to National City because her best friend, Lena Luthor, wanted someone to take over Catco Media. When Andrea arrives in the city, viewers get a glimpse of the woman’s life – she has become a pawn for Leviathan, doing her dirty work in the disguise of Acrata. However, at the end of the series, she helps defeat Lex Luthor and Nyxly.

Julie Gonzalo has quite the resume – she is best known for her roles in A Cinderella Story, Veronique March, Eli Pierre, dallas, Ladron Que Roba A Ladronand A dark enemy. More recently, Gonzalo lent his voice to the audiobook Sobremesa: A memoir of food and love in thirteen courseswhich is due out in September.

Nicole Maines — Nia Nal

Making History as the First Transgender Superhero—Nia Nal embraced his powers after his mother’s death, becoming Dreamer. First, having arrived in National City to pursue a career as a journalist with CatCo Worldwide Media, Nia eventually joined the Super Friends to fight crime and make a difference in the city.

In the series and in real life, Nicole Maine made history. The actress is slowly but surely making a name for herself by starring in works such as royal pains, good problem, BITand more recently even writing for Dreamer’s screenplay in the Superman: Son of Kal-El comics.

Jon Cryer—Lex Luthor

Superman’s big bad somehow made his way into Supergirl’s life as well. Lex Luthor’s war against the Kryptonians has effectively caused trouble for everyone in National City, wreaking havoc on the lives of his sister Lena and Supergirl. There’s never a moment of peace when it comes to the charismatic and devious billionaire.

Sure, Lex Luthor may be totally unhinged, but Jon Cryer fortunately has nothing to do with his character in the series. The American actor, comedian and filmmaker has amassed quite the resume, having appeared in projects like two and a half men, Pretty in pink, NCIS, Due dateand Torture, to only cite a few. The actor was recently cast in an untitled NBC comedy pilot alongside Abigail Spencer and Donald Faison.

Melissa Benoist — Kara Danvers, Supergirl

Supergirl Herself – Having originally been sent to Earth to protect her younger cousin, Kal-El, aka Superman, the older Kryptonian had to learn to grow up as Kara Danvers, the adoptive sister of House Danvers, when she was suspended in time for 24 years when her pod was knocked over and sent to the Phantom Zone. Wanting a normal life, a life where she could pursue a career in journalism, she moved to National City with her sister, Alex. But after being forced to reveal herself to save her sister, Kara was dubbed Supergirl and recruited by the DEO to curb alien criminal activity in the city.

Melissa Benoist is a superhero like his TV counterpart – having landed his first major role as Marley Rose in the fifth season of Joy. The actress has appeared in such works as Whiplash, The longest routeand waco– in addition to making her Broadway debut in 2018 as Carole King in Magnificent: Carole King’s Musical. Benoist rose to prominence when she was cast in the title role of the CBS/CW series Supergirl. She should play in The girls on the buscurrently in pre-production.

Odette Annable — Sam Arias

A riddle wrapped in a riddle – Sam Arias is an L-Corp employee and one of Lena Luthor’s close friends. But when his powers begin to manifest, it’s revealed to both viewers and characters that Sam is, in fact, a Kryptonian – a world-killer named Reign, sent to Earth just before Krypton’s destruction.

Odette AnnableThe very first role of was that of a Spanish-speaking student in Kindergarten Cop at the age of five. The actress has amassed a number of projects over the years, best known for her roles in Accommodation, banshee, super girland recently Walkerwhich has been renewed for a third season.

Chyler Leigh—Alex Danvers

Alex Danvers aka Sentinel may be Supergirl’s sister, but she’s more than capable of holding her own. The bio-engineer works at the DEO and fights alien criminals with the Superfriends. Throughout the series, she’s been an anchor for Kara – it wasn’t until Kelly arrived in National City that viewers finally got to see the depths of Alex both professionally and personally. But above all, viewers were able to see the woman finally and truly happy.

Able to hold on indeed. Chyler Leigh is best known for her roles as Janey Briggs in Not another teen movie and Lexie Gray in Grey’s Anatomy. The American actress has built quite a resume – having starred in projects such as That 80s show, Taxi Brooklynand of course, super girl. Leigh has recently been cast in the Hallmark series The way backopposite Andi MacDowell.
