Trials Of Osiris rewards this week in Destiny 2 (August 19-23)

Destiny 2 offers plenty of activities, but for players looking to engage in high-stakes PvP competition, Trials of Osiris is the perfect place for the weekend. As Season of the Haunted begins to wind down, there’s one last weekend left to play the mode before the new one. Arc 3.0 Subclass debuts and throws the rulebook out of the airlock.

We don’t know which Trials of Osiris map will be held on this week and which Adept weapon will be up for grabs, but we’ll update this post as soon as the event goes live.

As always, trials will be available from the daily reset on Friday at 10:00 AM PT / 1:00 PM ET until the weekly reset at the same time the following Tuesday. Meanwhile, you can also visit Xur to see what Exotics he sells. Be sure to visit Saint-14 in the Tower to pick up a Trials Card, which will dictate certain bonuses (e.g. if you get bonus rewards at certain milestones or if a loss will be forgiven).

Trials of Osiris is a weekend PvP mode that spans from the daily Friday reset to the weekly Tuesday reset, giving you four days to participate. Your goal in Trials is for you and the other two players in your squad to complete a “no-fault” run, in which you win seven games without losing any.

Go Flawless, and you’ll earn a trip to the lighthouse and receive special rewards, including new Adept weapons. These have additional stat bonuses, making them one of the most coveted items you can get your hands on.

Thanks to a bunch of Trials changes, the mode is a bit easier to get into than it used to be. Trials of Osiris now features matchmaking, so you can jump into matches even if you don’t have a full three-player squad to take on it. Your Trials Passage, the map you buy from Saint-14 that grants you access to the mode and tracks your wins, now does not Track your losses so you can keep playing and earning rewards even if you lose on a clear run. Bungie has also adjusted Trials so that you earn rewards based on the number of Sleevesrather than matches, you’ve won during your session and added a reputation system similar to Crucible and Gambit, making it easier to get some of the unique loot from Trials of Osiris.

Finally, you’ll earn Trial Engrams for participating in the mode, which you can cash in with Saint-14 during the weekend you receive them. With the new update, you can tweak these engrams to get specific pieces of loot, or try your luck with random drops that will expand what’s available in your loot pool. So even if you go all out on your own, there are plenty of ways to earn new gear.
