Indian boxer Amit Panghal captured another boxing gold for the country by defeating Kieran Macdonald of England in the final of 48-51kg (flyweight) at the ongoing Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham on Sunday. Panghal dominated the match and won it 5-0. He won this on the basis of points.

Panghal got off to a great start in the first round. Although his English rivals were always in contention, the Indians were the better boxers as the judges decided in favor of Panghal and he got 10 points from all while Macdonald got nine points from all.
