Victor Lindelof – £25m
Arguably the fourth choice at United behind Harry Maguire, Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez, Lindelof could find himself pushing for an exit after five years at Old Trafford.
The Swede has been a fairly consistent, if not unspectacular, signing after arriving for £38million from Benfica in 2017 when Jose Mourinho was in charge. While his performances are often glossed over, Lindelof made some disastrous mistakes at the back during his time at the club.
There is no imminent deal in place to take him away from United, but the club would surely listen to offers for the 27-year-old, who is expected to earn around £120,000-a-week.
James Garner – £15m
Nottingham Forest sign just about every player entering the transfer window and Garner has become a target for the Premier League’s ambitious new boys.
Garner, 21, enjoyed a successful 18-month loan spell with the club, scoring eight goals in 69 appearances. And it looks like Steve Cooper wants the central midfielder back on a permanent deal.
The central midfielder hasn’t been called upon by Ten Hag despite the Dutchman’s problems in the center of the park with Fred and Scott McTominay. United are believed to be ready to sell if their £15million asking price is met, ending Garner’s 13-year association with the club.
