Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could feel the force of the “Queen’s wrath” by ignoring the rules | royal | New

Royal commentator Duncan Larcome warned that Megane and HarryBritain’s visit will be “incredibly high profile”, which he described as a “calculated provocation”. Their next visit, which kicks off in Manchester on September 5, will be the Sussexes’ first trip to the UK since the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June. The couple planned the trip to meet charities “close to their hearts”.

Speaking of the visit, Mr Larcombe said: “To the casual observer, particularly overseas and even more so in America, it will give the impression that Harry and Meghan are back in royal jobs, especially more than one of the gigs Harry does is the WellChild awards for sick children, something he always used to do when he was actually a member of the royal family.

“It will be incredibly publicized.

“They’ll be all over the media, and you can’t put cigarette papers between what Harry and Meghan are doing and what Will and Kate are doing.

“It’s a calculated provocation on their part.

“They are seriously pushing their luck and risking the queen’s wrath.”

Despite Mr Larcombe’s warning, Meghan and Harry’s return to the UK has also been met with excitement.

Charity One Young World, which will be the first leg of Meghan and Harry’s journey, said it was “delighted” that the couple were attending their Manchester summit.

He praised the Duchess for being a “proud One Young World advisor since 2014”.

Mr Fitzwilliams told Newsweek that a family reunion when they visit the UK would be “unlikely, but you can never guess Harry and Meghan”.

Meanwhile, royal author Phil Dampier said the couple could “drop by to chat” with the Queen, should she request a meeting.

He told the MailOnline: “Whether [Harry] meeting the queen will likely depend on her.

“If she tells them she wants to see them, I’m sure they’ll come and have a chat.

“I’m sure she hopes the relaxed atmosphere will be more conducive to discussing and resolving the issues they are all facing.

“Meghan won’t like the hunting, shooting and fishing environment of the Highlands, but the Queen would feel much more comfortable meeting them there rather than a rushed meeting in London.”
