UK weather: Britons are bracing for another scorching heatwave next week with a 34C heat wave | Weather | New

Forecasters have predicted a series of heatwaves next week as temperatures are set to soar above 30C. The Met Office said temperatures are set to rise over the coming week.

Met Office chief forecaster Steve Willington said: “We could see parts of the UK enter heatwave conditions if above-average temperatures last for three or more days.

“Many parts of the UK, particularly the south, will experience temperatures several degrees above average, but these values are likely to be well below the record temperatures we saw in mid-July.

“As the high pressure builds, there is very little significant rain in the forecast, particularly in parts of southern England, which have seen very dry conditions in the past month.

“Elsewhere in the UK, such as northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, rainy weather fronts will make limited headway against high pressure, bringing rain to northwestern areas of the Kingdom. -United.”

The high will expand eastward across the southern half of Britain this weekend and continue for much of next week, bringing dry, stable and increasingly warm conditions.

Nick Finnis, meteorological expert with Netweather.tv said: “Temperatures will be near average in the North West Stream over the next few days but will rise until next week, potentially reaching the low thirties Celsius in southern England from Tuesday to Friday.

“This meets the heat wave criteria.

“However, Scotland will be exposed to Atlantic frontal systems moving eastward, so here it will be cooler with more chance of rain at times, more particularly the north and west of Scotland – the more easterly dry.
